The Galaxy Z Flip has a general score of 88.5, which is a lot better than the Xiaomi Mi 5's 73.7 global score. Xiaomi Mi 5 has a better looking screen than Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a better amount of pixels per inch of display and a slightly better 2560 x 1440 resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip counts with just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi 5, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with 4 more CPU cores and 5 GB more RAM. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has a much better storage for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 5, because it has 192 GB more internal memory.
The Galaxy Z Flip takes much better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5, although it has a much worse 12 MP resolution back camera, they both have a F1.8 camera aperture. The Xiaomi Mi 5 features a bit better battery duration than Galaxy Z Flip, because it has a 3600mAh battery capacity against 3300mAh.
Although Galaxy Z Flip is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi 5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Mi 5. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Z Flip, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Mi 5, giving up some features and specs.
