Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Max has a general score of 77.5, which is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 5's 73.7 score. Xiaomi Mi 5 has just a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has less RAM and an inferior number of cores (but faster), it also counts with a graphics processing unit. The Xiaomi Mi 5 has an incredibly better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much better pixels quantity per inch of display and a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution.
Xiaomi Mi Max shoots much better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 5, although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for low-light photography and video, they both have a camera with a 16 megapixels. Xiaomi Mi Max has a much bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5, because it has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 256 GB and more internal memory.
Xiaomi Mi Max counts with greater battery life than Xiaomi Mi 5, because it has a 35% bigger battery size.
