Galaxy M30s has a general score of 83.3, which is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 9's 83.2 overall score. Even being the best phone in our current comparison, the Galaxy M30s body is just a little heavier and somewhat thicker than Xiaomi Mi 9. Xiaomi Mi 9 has a little sharper screen than Galaxy M30s. Both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2340px, the same display pixels density and a screen of the same size.
The Samsung Galaxy M30s has more storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that holds up to 512 GB. Xiaomi Mi 9 counts with a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy M30s, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has more RAM.
Xiaomi Mi 9 captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy M30s, and although they both have the same resolution camera in the back, a 0.5 inches sensor and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a bigger diafragm aperture to take better photography in low-light environments and higher 60 frames per second video frame rates.
The Galaxy M30s counts with a very superior battery life than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.
