Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is just a bit better than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, getting an 88.9 score against 84.2. Even though the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is a better phone than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, it must be noted that it's also much older, somewhat thicker and just a little heavier. Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has an older 10 version while Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has Android 14 version.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has a way better performance than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has 4 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, although it has a bit less pixels per display inch, a little bit smaller screen and a way worse 1080 x 2400 resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha and the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro feature similar storage for applications and games, they have exactly the same 512 GB internal storage capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a way better battery life than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because it has a 5500mAh battery capacity. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a much better camera than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting images and videos in low-light situations, a camera in the back with a much worse 50 megapixels resolution and a smaller back camera sensor providing a lower image quality, it also counts with a much higher 7680x4320 video quality.
