Huawei P20 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, getting a global score of 78.1 against 71.7. Although the Huawei P20 is a bit heavier than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, it's thinner and also newer. Both devices in this comparison review work with Android operating system, but Huawei P20 has newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
Huawei P20 has a screen that's just as good as the screen in Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although the Huawei P20 has a little inferior quantity of pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a bigger screen and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2244. The Huawei P20 counts with a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei P20 also has more RAM.
The Huawei P20 counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. Huawei P20 captures much better videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has a less megapixels resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a larger aperture to take better low light captures and a lot better (4K) video resolution.
Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime features better battery life than Huawei P20, because it has 4100mAh of battery capacity.
Although Huawei P20 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Huawei P20, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, giving up a couple specs and features.
