Galaxy S6 edge+ is better than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, getting a global score of 79.3 against 71.7. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S6 edge+ has an older 5.1 version while Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. The Galaxy S6 edge+ is an older phone than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, but it's a little lighter and way thinner anyway.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has a little bit better performance than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores (although they are slower). If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your budget.
