Comparison review
Xperia XZ3 is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, getting a general score of 79.6 against 71.7. Xperia XZ3's construction is newer than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime's, although it is somewhat heavier and thicker. These devices use Android OS (operating system), but Xperia XZ3 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has Android 6.0 Marshmallow, giving you a couple nice extra features.
The Xperia XZ3 counts with a more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels, a just a bit more pixels per inch of screen and a larger screen. The Xperia XZ3 has a bit faster processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia XZ3 also has a larger amount of RAM.
Xperia XZ3 has much more storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB and 32 GB more internal storage. Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime counts with improved battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ3, because it has a 23% bigger battery size.
The Xperia XZ3 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a larger diafragm aperture to capture better photography and videos in low-light environments, a lot more megapixels camera and a much higher (4K) video quality.
Although Sony Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
