The LG V50 ThinQ is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, with a overall score of 83.7 against 75.8. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS, but LG V50 ThinQ has older 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Even though the LG V50 ThinQ is newer than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, it's a bit heavier and a little bit thicker.
