Comparison review
The Huawei P20 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, with a 78.1 score against 74.4. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei P20 has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat version. The Huawei P20 is a just a little lighter and just a little bit thinner cellphone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, even though they were released only 2 months apart.
Huawei P20 has a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit greater pixels amount per screen inch and a bit higher 1080 x 2244 pixels resolution. Huawei P20 counts with a little better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. Both have 4 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores.
