Comparison review
The Motorola Moto Z4 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, getting a 79.8 score against 74.4. Both phones in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola Moto Z4 has 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat. Motorola Moto Z4's design is newer, just a little thinner and just a bit lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.
Moto Z4's processor is very similar to Xiaomi Redmi Note 5's CPU, they have the same RAM amount and 8 cores. The Moto Z4 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 count with incredibly similar screens, although the Moto Z4 also has a just a bit better pixels quantity in each inch in the display, a little bit higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a quite bigger display.
The Moto Z4 captures much better photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has a way larger aperture for better low light images and videos, a back facing camera with a lot better resolution and a much higher (4K) video definition.
