Galaxy A12 is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, with a overall score of 80.3 against 74.4. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy A12 has the older 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat. The Galaxy A12 design is way newer, but heavier and a little thicker than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.
The Galaxy A12 features just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. Both of them have 4 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores.
