IPhone 8 has an overall score of 85, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's overall score of 81.1. The iPhone 8 body is noticeably lighter and somewhat thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, even though it was released many years before. The Apple iPhone 8 counts with a little sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, although it has a way smaller screen, a way worse resolution of 750 x 1334px and a just a bit less pixels per inch of screen.
The iPhone 8 has a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster) and 4 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro takes much better photographs and videos than Apple iPhone 8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for shooting photographs or video in low-light situations and lower video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a way better 64 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera and a way bigger back camera sensor shooting much better quality videos and pictures.
The iPhone 8 has a greater storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a way better battery life than iPhone 8, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity instead of 1821mAh.
Although iPhone 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
