Alcatel OneTouch Fire Review

Alcatel OneTouch Fire is a fair quality Firefox cellphone launched some years ago, in 2013, coming with a 3.2 megapixels back-facing camera, a 3.5" display and a good performance 1000 MHz processor.

This phone is for sale in three different color options, orange, green and white. The Alcatel OneTouch Fire is much lighter than what one would expect from a device this size.

Alcatel equipped this cellphone with an average 3.5 inches screen, and a resolution of 480 x 320 , making everything look quite colorful and brightful. This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, but it can't detect multi touch gestures.

The Alcatel OneTouch Fire ships with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7227A system chip, packing a great performance processing unit speeding at 1 GHz and as little as 256 MB RAM. Collaborating with graphic calculations, it also has a 200 megahertz Adreno 200 (enhanced) GPU.

This cellphone features WiFi connectivity (although it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a modem or router) and 3G fast connectivity, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Alcatel OneTouch Fire works with a SIM card for GSM services.

This cellphone is only equipped with a 3.2 MP back side camera. It is capable of capturing VGA 640x480 videos at 30 frames per second.

This phone also includes a few nice features like Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS, and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

This phone packs a mid capacity 1400 mAh replaceable battery that provides the Alcatel OneTouch Fire a not very long battery duration. Alcatel says this cellphone has a 280 hs stand by time and a 6.7 hs talk time.

This device is really overpriced considering it costs $ 249, while other similar phones are offerred way cheaper than that. This cellphone includes 2GB Micro SD card, 3.5 jack stereo headset and Charger head and Micro USB cable.
