Motorola MotoLuxe is a decently made Android device launched back in the year 2012, featuring a 4 inches multi-touch screen, a good performance 800 megahertz CPU, and 2 cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 megapixels front camera.
Motorola appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 4.36 ounces phone. The Motorola MotoLuxe is very slim and stilized, with a thickness of just 0.39 inches. Motorola onlymade this cellphone in color black.
The Motorola MotoLuxe has a interesting 854 x 480 4" display, which makes everything look colorful and brightful. Its display uses LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.
Motorola decided to equip the Motorola MotoLuxe using a fast CPU clocking at 800 MHz, bundled in a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7227A chip and 512 MB of RAM memory. Graphic rendering often eats a lot of CPU processing time, so this phone counts with an extra Adreno 200 (enhanced) GPU clocking at 200 megahertz to help the processor with those tasks.
This phone features two cameras, an 8 megapixels back camera and a 0.3 megapixels front facing camera. It is also able to shoot 640x480 VGA videos. Additionally, this cellphone's camera also features some nice characteristics: auto-focus, flash and geo tagging.
This cellphone comes with a 1400 mAh medium sized Li-Ion replaceable battery providing the Motorola MotoLuxe with a below average battery duration. According to Motorola, this cellphone has a reported stand by time of 450 hours and a talk time of 6.5 hours.
This cellphone includes wifi connectivity (although it can't be shared with other devices around, as a mobile mobile hotspot) and fast 3G connectivity, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.
The Motorola MotoLuxe also comes with a few interesting features as Bluetooth (allows communication with other bluetooth cellphones, computers and accessories), GPS Navigation and FM Radio, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This cellphone is not a very good choice considering it is sold for $ 170, and many similar phones are being sold for much less than that.
