Huawei Ascend G300 is a mid-end Android phone released some years ago, in 2012, provisioned with a medium 4-inches screen, a good performance 1 GHz processing unit and a 5 MP back facing camera.
The Huawei Ascend G300 ships with a fast processing unit running at 1 gigahertz, packed into a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7227A system chip with 512 MB of RAM memory. To help with graphic calculations, it also has a 200 megahertz Adreno 200 (enhanced) GPU.
This phone's thickness of 0.41 inches is a bit far from today's standards, but it still feels fine in the hand. Huawei didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 4.94 ounces phone.
This phone only features a 5 megapixels back-facing camera. Additionally, the camera features a few interesting features like flash, auto-focus and geo tagging.
This phone is equipped with a good level 4-inches screen with a 800 x 480 resolution, making everything look great. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.
The Huawei Ascend G300 offers WiFi capability (although it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a router or modem) and the fastest 3G data connection, using HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a SIM card for GSM connection.
This cellphone counts with a good 1350 mAh Li-Ion removable battery, which is quite poor for a cellphone like this. This device has a reported 5.3 hs talk time and a 320 hs stand by time.
The Huawei Ascend G300 also comes with a couple of useful features like Bluetooth (allows communication with other bluetooth devices, computers, and accessories) and GPS Navigation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This cellphone costs $ 165, not a good offer for this type of device.
