Nokia Lumia 620 Review

Nokia Lumia 620 is a mid-to-low level cellphone launched in 2012, equipped with a medium 3.8-inches display, a fast Dual-Core processor clocking at 1000 MHz, a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 megapixels front camera.

This cellphone's thickness (0.43") is a little bit far from current standards, but it still feels quite right in the user's hand. This phone isn't very light comparing with today standards, with a weight of 4.48 ounces. Nokia offers the Nokia Lumia 620 in many different color options, black, pink, orange, green, blue and white.

Nokia decided to equip this cellphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8227 chip, which holds a good performance Dual-Core processing unit clocking at 1000 MHz and 512 MB RAM memory. A good point of this cellphone is its big 8 GB internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards, allowing you to install a couple hundred games and applications without any problem.

This phone has two cameras, a 5 megapixels back side camera and a 0.3 MP front facing camera. It can also capture videos in 1280x720 (HD) at 30 fps. This camera also counts with some nice features: flash, geo tagging and auto-focus.

This phone includes a very good 800 x 480 3.8 inches display, which makes it hard to see the pixels taking part of the display. This display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This device counts with WiFi connection (and it can be provided to other devices acting as a wireless router or modem), HSPA+ 4G internet connection, that is not as fast as LTE or LTE-A 4G networks and the fastest 3G data connection, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Nokia Lumia 620 works with a Micro SIM card for GSM connection.

This phone also features a handful of nice features such as Near Field Communication (NFC), Bluetooth and GPS Geolocation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

The Lumia 620 uses a 1300 mAh mid capacity Li-Ion battery that can keep it running for many hours, although you will probably find yourself looking for a place to charge it if you use it heavily.

This phone is being sold for about 140 dollars, not a really offer for a cellphone this level. If you want a cellphone to majorly use social networks and internet browsing, this phone is probably the right one .
