Asus PadFone X mini is a mid level cellphone, provisioned with an extremely powerful 1.6 gigahertz Dual-Core processor, a 4.5-inches multi touch display, a 5 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 2 megapixels front-facing camera.
Asus decided to power this phone with a high-tech Dual-Core processing unit clocking at 1600 megahertz, packed into the Intel Atom system chip with only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a bit disappointing for such a powerful phone. This cellphone counts with an 8 GB interesting internal storage and an SD memory slot, allowing the user to install a couple hundred apps without running out of space.
Even though this phone is only 5.2" long and 2.61 inches wide, it manages to pack a 4.5" screen. Asus justmade the Asus PadFone X mini in black color. Asus didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 5.26 oz device.
This phone has two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 2 megapixels front facing camera. This camera also features a large number of valuable characteristics: flash, fast burst mode, auto-focus, face detection shooting, digital image stabilization, geo tagging and smile detection shooting.
Asus equipped this cellphone with a good level 4.5" screen, and a 854 x 480 resolution, providing this phone with a detailed image quality.
This cellphone packs a 2060 mAh huge Li-Polymer replaceable battery that can keep it running for several hours, although you may need to charge it after some heavy use.
This device counts with wi-fi connection (but it can't share it with other devices around, as a mobile mobile hotspot), LTE (4G) high performance connection type and the fastest 3G internet connection, over HSPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. The Asus PadFone X mini uses a SIM card to use GSM services.
This cellphone also comes with a couple interesting features like Bluetooth and GPS, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This device is not a good choice considering it is priced $ 249, while many similar cellphones are being sold for much less than that. This cellphone is definitely a great option no matter if you want a social phone or are looking for a cellphone to play games. This phone is packed with Travel Charger Kit (10W), USB sync Cable, Main Battery and 3.5mm Wired Headset with Mic.
