BLU Advance 4.0 Review

BLU Advance 4.0 is a decent quality Android phone, coming with a 4-inches capacitive display, a Dual-Core processor running at 1300 megahertz, and 2 cameras, a 5 MP back camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera.

BLU decided to build this cellphone with a great Dual-Core processor running at 1.3 GHz with only 512 MB of RAM which is a bit disappointing for a cellphone this good. Collaborating with graphic calculations, this phone also counts with a Mali-400 graphics processing unit ticking at 500 megahertz. This phone counts with an average 4 GB internal storage, which is fine considering it also has an SD extension slot to store pictures and videos and even some apps that allow being installed in the external memory.

This cellphone feels much lighter than what one would expect from a device this size.

The BLU Advance 4.0 has a good looking 4-inches screen with a 800 x 480 resolution, making everything look very good. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

This phone has two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back side camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front camera. It can also shoot videos in 1280x720 (HD) at 30 frames per second. The camera also includes flash.

This device includes HSPA+ 4G connectivity, which is not so fast as LTE networks and fast 3G connection type, over HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This cellphone doesn't use a SIM card, because it doesn't support GSM connections.

This device comes with a 1600 mAh mid capacity Li-Ion removable battery that can keep this phone running for many hours, although you will probably find yourself looking for a place to charge it after some moderate to heavy usage. BLU says this cellphone has a 340 hs stand by time and a 8 hs talk time.

This phone is priced around 105 dollars, which is not cheap for comparing with other similar cellphones. When you buy the BLU Advance 4.0 you also get Silicone case, charger, Headphones, screen protector, Battery and microUSB cable.
