BLU Dash Music 4.0 is a fair quality Android device, packing a 3.2 mega-pixels back facing camera, a good performance Dual-Core CPU clocking at 1.3 GHz and a 4 inches multi touch screen.
The BLU Dash Music 4.0 comes with a good performance 1300 megahertz Dual-Core processing unit with 512 MB of RAM memory. Graphic calculations usually uses lots of processing power, so the BLU Dash Music 4.0 counts with an extra 320 MHz ARM Mali-400 MP1 GPU to unload the processor. The BLU Dash Music 4.0 counts with a moderate 4 GB internal storage, which is fine knowing that the BLU Dash Music 4.0 also has an external SD slot to store songs, photos and videos and even some applications that allow external memory installation.
Although this phone is slim and comfortable it's not as thin as many other devices nowadays, with a thickness of 0.46". This device is sold in a lot of colors like black, yellow, blue, red, white and gray. This time, it seems like BLU forgot about weight optimization in this 4.52 ounces device.
This cellphone is only equipped with a 3.2 mega-pixels back camera. It is capable of capturing videos in HD 1280x720 at 30 frames per second.
The BLU Dash Music 4.0 includes a very good 4 inches display with a 800 x 480 resolution, giving this device a good level graphic quality. This display uses TFT capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.
The BLU Dash Music 4.0 comes with a 1500 mAh medium battery that provides this cellphone a not very long battery duration. This phone has an aproximate 700 hours stand by time and a 15 hs talk time.
The BLU Dash Music 4.0 provides wi-fi connection (which can be shared with other devices as a mobile hotspot), 4G (HSPA+) connection type, which is not so fast as LTE networks and 3G fast data connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. The BLU Dash Music 4.0 doesn't use a SIM card, because it is not a GSM enabled device.
This phone also includes a handful of useful characteristics like Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
BLU offers this phone for 155 dollars, which is high for comparing with other similar cellphones.
