Gionee Elife E6 Review

Score: 58.6 / 100

Gionee Elife E6 is a mid level Android cellphone released back in the year 2013, packing a 5" touch-screen, a high speed Quad-Core processor running at 1.5 gigahertz, and 2 cameras, a 13 megapixels back facing camera and a 5 mega-pixels front side camera. We will get a better idea about this cellphone's specs when we get into more details.

Being just 0.31" thick, this device is extremely slim and practical. This phone is just 5.61 inches long, but it still manages to hold a 5 inches display. Gionee has made an amazing job making the Gionee Elife E6 as lightweight as 4.52 ounces.

Gionee packed this phone with an absolutely amazing 5-inches screen, and a 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) resolution, which makes everything look amazing. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

Gionee ships this phone with a great Quad-Core processor clocking at 1500 MHz, packed into a Mediatek MT6589T system chip and a large 2 GB of RAM memory. A good point of this phone is its 32 GB astonishing internal memory and a slot for an external memory card, allowing the user to store hundreds of apps and even the largest games available nowadays without having to worry about how much storage is left.

This device is equipped with two cameras, a 13 megapixels back side camera and a 5 megapixels front facing camera. This cellphone can also shoot videos in Full HD 1920x1080 at 30 frames per second. This cellphone also features a couple of interesting features: auto-focus, flash and HDR mode.

This phone offers WiFi connectivity (although it can't provide it to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot). This cellphone uses a Micro SIM card for GSM carriers.

This device also features a couple interesting features such as Bluetooth (provides communication with other devices, computers and accessories), GPS (Global Positioning System) and Radio, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This device packs a medium sized 2000 mAh Li-Polymer battery, which is quite low for a consuming cellphone like this.

The Gionee Elife E6 is really overpriced considering it costs 249 dollars, and other similar phones cost much less than that. No matter whether you want a social cellphone or will use it to play lots of games, you will probably be very happy with this phone.
