HTC One X AT&T Review

HTC One X AT&T is a high-level phone released in 2012, having a very fast 1.5 GHz Dual-Core CPU, a medium sized 4.7 inches multi touch capacitive screen, an 8 MP back facing camera and a 1.3 megapixels front side camera. That's all? No, it's just the starting point of a detailed review.

HTC sells this cellphone with a high performance Dual-Core CPU running at 1.5 gigahertz, included in the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 chip with only 1 GB RAM memory which is a little bit low comparing with this phone's great CPU. Graphic calculations usually uses lots of CPU processing time, so this phone has a 400 megahertz Adreno 225 graphics processing unit to help handle those graphic tasks. A nice advantage of the HTC One X AT&T is its quite big 16 GB internal memory and while it doesn't have an external SD slot, it should be enough to install a couple hundred apps and games, but it probably wouldn't be enough if you are planning to install a couple of the heaviest games available nowadays.

This phone is much lighter than what one would expect from a device like this. Though this phone only has 5.31" long and 2.75" wide, it's still able to fit a a 4.7 inches display. Being just 0.35 inches thick,the HTC One X AT&T is slim and practical.

HTC equipped this device with a completely amazing 4.7 inches display, and a resolution of 1280 x 720 (HD), which makes everything look brightful and colorful. Its display uses S-LCD 2 capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

The HTC One X AT&T features WiFi connectivity (which can be shared with other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), LTE (4G) high speed internet connection and also HSPA+ connectivity, that is a slower 4G variation and fast 3G internet connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a Micro SIM card for GSM services.

This phone features two cameras, an 8 megapixels back side camera and a 1.3 megapixels front facing camera. It also films Full HD 1920x1080 videos. This cellphone also includes some useful characteristics: flash, HDR mode, auto-focus and geo tagging.

This device also features a couple of interesting features such as NFC (to trigger actions, transfer data or make payments by holding your cellphone close to another NFC device or tag), Bluetooth (for communication with other bluetooth devices, computers, and accessories) and GPS Localization, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This phone comes with a 1800 mAh mid capacity Li-Polymer removable battery providing the HTC One X AT&T with a not very long battery life. HTC claims this phone has a 302 hs stand by time and a 8.5 hours talk time.

HTC is selling this device for $ 230, which is very expensive for a cellphone this level. This cellphone is definitely a great option for you no matter if you need a cellphone to mainly use social networks and internet browsing, love photography, want it to play games or are looking for a work phone.
