HTC HD mini is a mid level Windows Mobile Professional cellphone released some years ago, in 2010, featuring a good processing unit running at 600 megahertz, a medium sized 3.2 inches capacitive display and a 5 MP back camera. Let's take a closer view of what this phone can give us.
This cellphone's thickness , 0.46 inches, is a little far from nowadays standards, but it still feels quite comfortable in the user's hand. HTC didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 3.88 oz phone.
HTC decided to power this phone using a good CPU clocking at 600 MHz and only 384 MB of RAM.
HTC packed this phone with an average 3.2 inches display, and a resolution of 480 x 320 , making everything look quite vivid. This display uses TFT capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.
This phone counts with Wi-Fi capability (but it can't share it with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot) and 3G fast connectivity, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a SIM card to use GSM services.
This cellphone has only a 5 megapixels back facing camera. This phone can also film videos in 640x480 (VGA). To complete the camera, it also counts with auto-focus.
The HTC HD mini comes with a poor capacity 1200 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery that can keep it running for some hours, but you may need to charge it even after moderate usage. HTC claims this device has a stand by time of 340 hs and a talk time of 7.3 hours.
This cellphone also comes with a couple of nice features like Bluetooth (enables communication with other cellphones, computers and accessories), GPS Geolocation and FM Radio, and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.
The HTC HD mini is not a good choice considering it is offerred for $ 199, while other similar cellphones are being sold much cheaper than that.
