HTC Titan Review

HTC Titan is a mid level phone released many years ago, packed with a processing unit clocking at 1.5 GHz, a medium 4.7 inches multi-touch display, and 2 cameras, an 8 MP back facing camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front camera. Let's take a deeper view of what this cellphone has to offer.

HTC didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 5.64 oz device. Being just 0.39 inches thick,this phone is slim and stilized. This cellphone is a compact phone, taking into consideration it features a 4.7" screen and it only has 5.18 inches long.

HTC ships this phone with a fast 1500 megahertz CPU, bundled in a Qualcomm Snapdragon S2 MSM8255 chip with 512 MB of RAM. This phone comes with a 16 GB quite large internal storage and whereas it doesn't count with an SD memory slot, it should be enough to store hundreds of apps and games, but it probably wouldn't be enough if you are planning to install a couple of the heaviest games available nowadays or taking tons of pictures and videos.

HTC packed the HTC Titan with a good 4.7-inches display, and a 800 x 480 resolution, giving this phone a mid level graphic quality. Its display uses S-LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This cellphone has two cameras, an 8 MP back camera and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera. It also films 1280x720 HD videos at 30 fps. Additionally, this cellphone's camera also counts with flash.

This cellphone has Wi-Fi connection (and it can share it with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot) and 3G fast connectivity, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a SIM card for GSM connection.

This device comes with a mid capacity 1600 mAh Li-Ion removable battery, which is quite poor for a thirsty cellphone like this. This cellphone has a reported 11.8 hours talk time and a 360 hours stand by time.

The HTC Titan also includes a few cool features as Bluetooth (2.1, EDR) and GPS, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This phone is priced 349 dollars, not a really offer for comparing with similar devices. No matter whether you want a phone to play tons of games or want a social cellphone, this cellphone is probably the correct option for you.
