Huawei 4Afrika Review

Huawei 4Afrika is a decent Windows Phone 7.8 cellphone launched in February 2013, including a fast Dual-Core processing unit ticking at 1.2 gigahertz, a 4" touch-screen, a 5 megapixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front-facing camera. Let's take a deeper view of what this cellphone has to offer.

Apparently Huawei decided not to care so much about the weight in this 4.59 oz cellphone. The Huawei 4Afrika is for sale in many color options like black, blue, red and white. This phone's thickness , 0.41", is quite far from current standards, but it still feels fine in the user's hand.

Huawei equipped this phone with a very good 4" display, and a 800 x 480 resolution, providing this device with a detailed graphic quality. This display uses LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

Huawei decided to equip the Huawei 4Afrika using a great performance Dual-Core processor clocking at 1.2 gigahertz, packed into the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Play MSM8230 chip with 512 MB RAM memory. Graphic calculations usually consume lots of CPU cycles, so this phone has an additional 450 megahertz Adreno 305 GPU to improve overall performance. This cellphone comes with an average 4 GB internal memory, which is adequate for most users considering this cellphone also has an SD extension slot to store songs, photos and videos.

This phone provides WiFi connectivity (but it can't be provided to other devices as a mobile hotspot). This cellphone uses a SIM card to use GSM services.

The Huawei 4Afrika is equipped with two cameras, a 5 megapixels back camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front facing camera. It can also capture videos in HD 1280x720. To complete the camera, it also has flash and auto-focus.

The Huawei 4Afrika also features a few cool features as Bluetooth and GPS (Global Positioning System), and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

This device has a medium 1730 mAh Li-Polymer removable battery providing the Huawei 4Afrika with a not very long battery life.

The Huawei 4Afrika is very overvalued considering it is priced 249 dollars, and many similar cellphones can be found for much less money.
