Lenovo S660 Review

Score: 57 / 100

Lenovo S660 is a bit outdated Android phone launched in February 2014, featuring a 4.7-inches multi touch screen, an extremely powerful Quad-Core CPU running at 1.3 GHz, an 8 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 0.3 megapixels front camera. We will get a better understanding of this phone's specifications when we get into specific details.

Lenovo decided to build this phone with a MediaTek 6582M system chip, holding a great 1300 MHz Quad-Core processing unit and only 1 GB of RAM which is a little poor for such a powerful cellphone. Collaborating with graphic calculations, it also uses an ARM Mali-400 GPU working at 500 MHz. This cellphone has an 8 GB quite big internal memory and a slot for an external memory card, which allows you to install hundreds of games and applications without running out of space.

It appears that Lenovo decided not to care much about the weight in this 5.33 oz cellphone. Although this cellphone is just 5.39" long, it is able to fit a a 4.7" display. This phone is incredibly thin, with a thickness of just 0.39 inches. Lenovo onlymade this cellphone in color gray. Talking about its aspect, this phone is mainly created with Aluminium, which gives it a quality finish and better resistance.

This phone has two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 megapixels front facing camera. This phone also counts with flash and auto-focus.

This phone includes a nice 4.7-inches screen with a 960 x 540 resolution, which makes all pictures and movies look very good. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

This cellphone has an awesome 3000 mAh Li-Polymer removable battery that can keep this cellphone running for many hours without charging it. According to Lenovo, this cellphone has an estimated 10 hs talk time and a 840 hours stand by time.

The Lenovo S660 has Wi-Fi capability (and it can share it with other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G (HSPA+) connection type, that is not so fast as LTE or LTE-A 4G networks and the fastest 3G data connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This device has 2 SIM cards so it is able to use 2 different phone numbers in the same device.

The Lenovo S660 also features some useful features such as Bluetooth (provides communication with other devices, computers, and accessories) and GPS Geolocation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This phone is priced $ 155, which is a really high price for comparing with similar devices. No matter if you want a gamer device or need a cellphone to majorly use social networks, you will probably be very pleased with this phone.
