LG Escape Review

(P870) Score: 58.2 / 100

LG Escape is a mid level device released back in 2012, counting with a powerful Dual-Core processor running at 1200 MHz, a medium 4.3" screen, and two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 1.3 megapixels front camera.

This cellphone is a bit heavy comparing with today standards, weighting 4.5 oz. This device is slim and stilized, being just 0.37" thick. Though the LG Escape is only 4.96 inches long, it manages to contain a 4.3" display.

LG decided to build this cellphone with a great performance 1200 MHz Dual-Core CPU, packed into the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 chip with 1 GB RAM memory. This cellphone has a 4 GB internal storage memory, a fair quantity that should be enough for the vast majority of users considering that it also has an external memory card slot to store songs, pictures and videos.

This phone is equipped with two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front camera. It is capable of capturing 1920x1080 Full HD videos. This camera also counts with a couple of useful features: fast burst mode, auto-focus and HDR mode.

LG designed this cellphone with a good level 4.3" screen, and a 960 x 540 resolution, which makes all images and movies look great. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

This device offers Wi-Fi capability (but it can't share it with other devices around, as a mobile mobile hotspot), LTE (4G) high performance connectivity and fast 3G data connection, over HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone works with a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.

This phone also comes with some cool characteristics like Near Field Communication (NFC), Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS Geolocation, and a couple sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

This cellphone has a 2150 mAh long lasting Li-Ion battery, which isn't too much for a device like this. This cellphone has an aproximate stand by time of 312 hours and a talk time of 8 hs.

LG is selling the LG Escape for 139 dollars, which is not a really offer for a phone this level. No matter if you will use this device to play lots of games or will use it majorly for social networks, this cellphone is probably a great option for you.
