LG G2 Review

LG G2 is a brilliantly designed device launched in August 2013, including a high performance Quad-Core CPU running at 2260 MHz, a quite big 5.2" multi touch screen, a 13 MP back-facing camera and a 2.1 megapixels front side camera.

LG did an amazing design job making this phone weight only 5.04 ounces. This phone is just 0.35" thick, taking it to the thinnest cellphone's category. This cellphone is a very compact device, considering it features a 5.2" screen and it's just 5.45 inches long. LG is offering this phone in two different colors, black and white.

This phone ships with a high speed 2260 MHz Quad-Core processor, bundled in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 chip and a huge 2 GB RAM memory. Helping with graphic calculations, it also uses a 450 megahertz Adreno 330 graphics processing unit. The LG G2 comes with a 32 GB large internal memory and an SD memory slot, which allows the user to store hundreds of apps and even the largest games currently available without even thinking about running out of space.

This cellphone features two cameras, a 13 megapixels back camera and a 2.1 MP front side camera. Although it's 13 megapixels may sound amazing the back camera sensor size is quite small which makes pictures have less details and worse lighting than they should. The LG G2 can also capture videos in Full HD 1920x1080 at 60 frames per second. To complete the camera, it also features a large number of cool features like flash, fast burst mode, auto-focus, face detection shooting, optical image stabilization, geo tagging and HDR mode.

The LG G2 is equipped with a high-tech 5.2 inches screen with a 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) resolution, providing this device with a great graphic quality. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, with a very good 450 cd/m2 brightness and can detect multi touch gestures.

This cellphone packs an awesome 3000 mAh Li-Polymer non-replaceable battery, enough to provide the LG G2 with an incredibly long battery duration. This phone has an estimated 34.3 hours talk time and a 826 hours stand by time. An issue to consider is that this cellphone's battery is not removable so you can't change it when it starts to have trouble holding its charge, although with such a huge battery size you will probably buy a new device before that becomes a real problem.

This phone counts with WiFi capability (which it can share with other devices around, acting as a wireless router), LTE 4G high speed internet connection and also HSPA+ connection type, which is a lower speed 4G type and 3G fast data connection, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a Micro SIM card for GSM networks and it can connect using both CDMA and GSM carriers.

The LG G2 also includes a lot of interesting characteristics like Wireless charging, NFC, Infrared Blaster, Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS Geolocation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

LG is selling this phone for $ 195, which is a rather high price for this kind of cellphone. It doesn't matter whether you want a cellphone for playing games, are looking for a work cellphone, you love taking pictures or are looking for a social cellphone, you will probably be very happy with it.
