LG G2 Review

LG G2 is an impressive device launched many years ago, with a big 5.2-inches touch-screen, a high speed Quad-Core CPU clocking at 2260 megahertz, a 13 megapixels back side camera and a 2.1 megapixels front camera.

This cellphone feels much lighter than what one would expect from a cellphone this size. This phone is sold in 2 different color options, black and white. Though this cellphone is just 5.45" long, it still manages to pack a 5.2" screen. The LG G2 is very thin and practical, with a thickness of just 0.35".

This cellphone has a completely amazing 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) 5.2" screen, which makes everything look perfect. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, with a brightness of 450 candela/m² and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

LG decided to equip this phone using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 chip, which holds an extremely fast Quad-Core processor ticking at 2260 MHz and a big 2 GB RAM. Graphic calculations often eats a lot of CPU time, so it has an additional 450 MHz Adreno 330 graphic processing unit to take care of them, leaving the CPU free for other tasks. This cellphone counts with a 16 GB interesting internal memory and a slot for SD memory cards, allowing the user to store a couple hundred apps without worrying about space.

This device offers wi-fi capability (which can be provided to other devices acting as a router or modem), 4G (LTE) fast connectivity and also HSPA+ internet connection, which is a slower 4G network and the fastest 3G data connection, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a Micro SIM card for GSM networks and it can use both CDMA and GSM networks.

This cellphone is equipped with two cameras, a 13 megapixels back side camera and a 2.1 mega-pixels front camera. Although it's 13 mega-pixels may appear amazing the back side camera sensor size is quite small it takes darker pictures than you would expect. It also shoots 1920x1080 Full HD videos at 60 fps. Additionally, the camera has lots of valuable features like auto-focus, flash, optical image stabilization, fast burst mode, HDR mode, face detection shooting and geo tagging.

The LG G2 uses a 3000 mAh great Li-Polymer non-removable battery providing the LG G2 a marvelous battery duration. According to LG, this cellphone has an aproximate talk time of 34.3 hours and a stand by time of 826 hours. An issue to consider is that this phone's battery isn't replaceable so you can't throw it away and buy a new one when it begins to lose its charge, though having 3000 mAh you will probably discard this cellphone before that happens.

The LG G2 also features a wide range of great features like Wireless charging compatibility, NFC, Infrared Blaster, Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS Geolocation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This phone is really overpriced considering it costs $ 755, and some similar cellphones cost much less than that. This device is definitely a very good choice no matter if you need a work device, want a social device, want a phone to play games or want this phone to take plenty of photos.
