LG Viewty Smart Review

LG Viewty Smart is a decently made cellphone launched in February 2009, which features an 8 MP back-facing camera and a small sized 3" multi-touch display. But it's time to get into much more detail.

LG appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 3.6 ounces cellphone. Though the LG Viewty Smart is 4.29 inches long and 2.2" wide, it only holds a much smaller 3" display.

This device has areasonable 1,5 GB internal memory, which is enough for the vast majority of users considering that this cellphone also has a slot for external memory cards .

LG equipped the LG Viewty Smart with a gorgeous 3" screen, and a 800 x 480 resolution, which makes all images and videos look amazing. This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

This cellphone offers wifi capability (but it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a hotspot) and the fastest 3G connectivity, over HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The LG Viewty Smart uses a SIM card to use GSM services.

This cellphone is only equipped with an 8 megapixels back facing camera. This cellphone also includes a high number of useful characteristics like auto-focus, flash, face detection shooting, digital image stabilization, geo tagging and smile detection shooting.

This device has a poor capacity 1000 mAh Li-Ion removable battery that provides this phone a quite short battery lifecompared to other cellphones. This cellphone has a reported 350 hours stand by time and a 6 hours talk time.

This phone also includes a couple of interesting features as Bluetooth, GPS and FM Radio, and a couple sensors likeLight Sensor and Accelerometer.

This phone is not cheap at all considering it is sold for $ 165, and other similar phones can be found for much less money.
