HTC HD2 is a not so powerful Windows Mobile Professional cellphone released in 2009, which counts with a 1 gigahertz processor, a 5 MP back side camera and a medium 4.3" screen.
HTC decided to design this cellphone using a great performance CPU speeding at 1000 MHz, bundled in the Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 QSD8250 chip and just 448 MB of RAM. Collaborating with graphic calculations, the HTC HD2 also has a 128 MHz Adreno 200 graphics processing unit.
This cellphone is thin and comfortable, although it's not as thin as many other phones out there, with a thickness of 0.43 inches. Though the HTC HD2 only has 4.76 inches long, it's still able to fit a a 4.3" display. HTC didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 5.54 ounces device.
The HTC HD2 only features a 5 megapixels back-facing camera. It also captures VGA 640x480 videos. This device also features flash and auto-focus.
The HTC HD2 includes a interesting 4.3" screen with a 800 x 480 resolution, making everything look great. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, but it can't detect multi touch gestures.
The HTC HD2 features WiFi connectivity (although it can't provide it to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot) and the fastest 3G internet connection, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a SIM card to use GSM services.
This phone also includes some cool features as Bluetooth (2.1, EDR) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This phone has a 1230 mAh medium Li-Ion removable battery that can keep it running for some hours, although you will probably need to charge it even after moderate use. HTC reports a stand by time of 490 hs and a talk time of 6.3 hs for this phone.
This device costs around $ 115, not cheap for a phone this level.
