LG Volt 2 Review

LG Volt 2 is a nice phone released many years ago, coming with a great performance CPU running at 1200 MHz, a good size 5" multi touch screen, and two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back camera and a 5 mega-pixels front-facing camera. That's everything we have to say? No, it's only the tip of the iceberg.

Regarding its aspect, the LG Volt 2 is majorly built with plastic. This cellphone is thin, though it's not close to being one of the thinnest cellphones on sale, with a thickness of 0.4 inches. While this cellphone is just 5.5 inches long and 2.75" wide, it still manages to pack a 5 inches display. This cellphone is much lighter than what one would expect from a device this size.

LG packed the LG Volt 2 with a good level 5-inches screen, and a resolution of 1280 x 720 (HD), which makes it hard to distinguish the pixels taking part of the screen. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

LG equipped this cellphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 8916 system chip, holding a fast 1.2 gigahertz processing unit and 1 GB of RAM. A good advantage of this device is its big 8 GB internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card, enough to install hundreds of applications and games without running out of space.

The LG Volt 2 features Wi-Fi connection (which can be provided to other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), LTE 4G high speed connectivity and 3G data connection, using EV-DO A technologies. This phone doesn't have a SIM card, because it doesn't support GSM connections and it works with CDMA networks.

This phone features two cameras, an 8 megapixels back side camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera. Additionally, the camera counts with a couple of interesting characteristics: auto-focus, flash, face detection shooting, geo tagging and smile detection shooting.

The LG Volt 2 also features a couple of nice characteristics like Bluetooth (4.0), GPS Geolocation and FM Radio, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

The LG Volt 2 packs a large 2540 mAh Li - Ion replaceable battery providing the LG Volt 2 an impressive battery duration.

LG is selling the LG Volt 2 for $ 249, which is a really high price for comparing with similar devices. No matter if you are looking for a gaming phone, want this device mainly for social networks and internet browsing or are looking for a work cellphone, you will definitely be very happy with this cellphone.
