Motorola PRO is a mid-to-low level cellphone launched many years ago, packing a small 3.1" multi-touch display, a 5 mega-pixels back side camera and a processing unit running at 1000 megahertz. Great! That's it? No, it's just the introduction of this extreme review.
This cellphone comes with a good performance 1 gigahertz CPU, bundled in a TI OMAP chip and 512 MB RAM. This cellphone counts with a 1 GB internal storage, a little quantity that might be enough for some basic users considering it also has a slot for an external memory card to store photographs and videos and even some games and apps that can be installed in the external memory.
This cellphone is 4.69 inches long and 2.36" wide, but it is only able to pack a smaller 3.1" screen. Whereas this phone is very slim and comfortable it's not so slim as many other cellphones on sale, with a thickness of 0.46 inches. Motorola appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 4.73 ounces phone.
This phone is equipped with an average 480 x 320 3.1" display, making everything look nice. This display uses TFT capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.
This device has wifi connectivity (although it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a wireless modem or router) and fast 3G data connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card for GSM connection.
This phone only has a 5 MP back side camera. It can also film 720x480 videos at 30 frames per second. This camera also counts with flash.
This device also features a couple of useful characteristics such as Bluetooth and GPS Localization, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This phone uses a medium capacity 1420 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery, which is not really enough for a cellphone like this. Motorola claims this device has a 8 hs talk time and a 330 hs stand by time.
This phone is priced about $ 1079, expensive for this type of cellphone.
