Motorola PRO+ Review

Motorola PRO+ is a mid-end Android cellphone launched some years ago, in 2011, equipped with a small sized 3.1 inches touch-screen, a 5 MP back-facing camera and a powerful processor speeding at 1000 megahertz.

This cellphone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S2 MSM8255 system chip, including a powerful CPU clocking at 1000 MHz with 512 MB of RAM memory. Graphic calculations often uses a lot of processor cycles, so the Motorola PRO+ has an additional 245 MHz Adreno 205 GPU to help handle those graphic tasks. This cellphone comes with a 4 GB internal storage memory, a medium amount that should be adequate for the average user having that this phone also has an SD extension slot to store songs, photographs and videos.

Motorola made a very nice design job making this cellphone weight only 3.99 ounces. The Motorola PRO+ is 4.7 inches long and 2.44" wide, but it is only able to pack a smaller 3.1" display. While the Motorola PRO+ is very thin and comfortable it's not even close to being one of the thinnest cellphones nowadays, with a thickness of 0.46".

Motorola equipped this phone with a good level 3.1-inches display, and a 640 x 480 (VGA) resolution, which makes it hard to see the pixels composing the display.

This phone includes Wi-Fi connection (which can be shared with other devices acting as a router or modem) and the fastest 3G connectivity, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.

The Motorola PRO+ is equipped with only a 5 megapixels back camera. Additionally, the camera includes flash.

This cellphone also includes a couple useful features as Bluetooth, GPS Localization and Radio, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This cellphone packs a medium sized 1600 mAh replaceable battery providing this cellphone with a below average battery life. Motorola informs a stand by time of 312 hs and a talk time of 8 hours for this phone.

Motorola offers this cellphone for $ 1079, which is not cheap for a cellphone this level.
