Nokia 808 PureView is an interesting Symbian phone launched many years ago, with a great performance processing unit running at 1300 megahertz, a medium 4-inches touch-screen, and 2 cameras, a 41 MP back side camera and a 0.3 MP front facing camera.
Nokia decided to equip the Nokia 808 PureView using a great performance CPU ticking at 1.3 gigahertz with 512 MB RAM memory. This phone comes with a 16 GB quite big internal memory and an SD memory card expansion slot, allowing you to store a couple hundred applications and games without any trouble.
Nokia forgot about weight optimization in this 5.96 oz cellphone, far heavier than other similar cellphones. Nokia made the Nokia 808 PureViewavailable just in three color options, black, red and white. This phone is a bit thick for today's standards, with its 0.55" thickness.
This phone has two cameras, a 41 MP back-facing camera and a 0.3 MP front camera. It also shoots videos in Full HD 1920x1080 at 30 frames per second. To complete the camera, it also features digital image stabilization and flash.
Nokia equipped this phone with a interesting 4" display, and a 640 x 360 resolution, making everything look quite nice. Its display uses AMOLED capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.
This phone uses a 1400 mAh medium capacity Li-Ion battery, which is not really enough for a thirsty phone like this. This device has an aproximate talk time of 11 hs and a stand by time of 465 hours according to Nokia.
This cellphone includes wifi capability (although it can't provide it to other devices around, as a mobile mobile hotspot) and fast 3G connection type, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.
The Nokia 808 PureView also features a couple interesting characteristics as Near Field Communication (NFC), Bluetooth (enables communication with other cellphones, computers and accessories) and GPS Localization, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This device costs around $ 499, not a good offer for a cellphone this level. If you want a social cellphone, this cellphone is a very good choice for you.
