Nokia Asha 311 Review

Nokia Asha 311 is a little outdated Series 40 UI phone launched some years ago, in 2012, including a great performance processor ticking at 1 GHz, a small 3-inches capacitive display and a 3.2 MP back-facing camera.

The Nokia Asha 311 is a bit heavy for a cellphone of this size, with a weight of 3.35 oz. This cellphone is available in a variety of colors like brown, blue, red, white and gray. This phone is a bit thick compared to nowadays phones, with a thickness of 0.51". This device isn't a very compact cellphone, taking into account that it is 4.17 inches long,but it just contains a 3" screen.

Nokia equipped this phone with a good performance 1 gigahertz processing unit and only 128 MB RAM memory. This cellphone counts with a mediocre 143,36 MB internal storage memory, which may be enough for some users considering that this cellphone also has a slot for an SD memory card to store photos and videos and even some games and apps that allow being installed in the external memory.

This cellphone only features a 3.2 mega-pixels back camera. this cellphone's back camera lens has a maximum f/2.8 aperture so it struggles to take good photos in dark conditions. It also shoots videos in 640x480 (VGA) at 25 frames per second.

Nokia equipped this cellphone with a good 3" screen, and a resolution of 400 x 240 , making everything look quite colorful and brightful. Its screen uses LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

The Nokia Asha 311 uses a small sized 1110 mAh Li-Ion battery providing the Nokia Asha 311 with a not very long battery duration. This phone has an estimated 711 hs stand by time and a 7.2 hours talk time.

This cellphone includes wifi connection (although it can't be shared with other devices around, as a mobile hotspot) and the fastest 3G connection type, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.

This phone also includes Bluetooth (2.1, EDR), and a couple sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

Nokia is selling this phone for $ 325, which is high for comparing with similar phones. Nokia packs this cellphone with Nokia Stereo Headset WH-102, Nokia Compact Charger AC-11, Compact Visual User Guide and 2GB MicroSD memory card.
