Samsung Acclaim Review

Samsung Acclaim is a decently made Android device released some years ago, in 2010, having a medium sized 3.2" multi touch screen, a powerful 800 MHz processing unit and a 3 megapixels back camera.

Samsung decided to build this cellphone with a powerful CPU speeding at 800 MHz and just 256 MB RAM.

The Samsung Acclaim isn't really a compact cellphone, taking into account that it is 4.49 inches long,but it only holds a 3.2" display. The Samsung Acclaim is a little thick for today's standards, being as thick as 0.6". Samsung didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 4.59 ounces phone.

This device only features a 3 mega-pixels back-facing camera. Additionally, the camera features flash.

Samsung packed the Samsung Acclaim with an average 3.2-inches screen, and a resolution of 480 x 320 , which makes all pictures and videos look nice. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

The Samsung Acclaim uses a mid capacity 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is quite low for a thirsty cellphone like this. According to Samsung, this phone has an aproximate 450 hs stand by time and a 8 hours talk time.

The Samsung Acclaim has wi-fi capability (but it can't provide it to other devices around, as a mobile mobile hotspot). The Samsung Acclaim doesn't have a SIM card, because it doesn't work with GSM connections and it works with CDMA carriers.

This phone also includes a handful of interesting features as Bluetooth (allows communication with other devices, computers and accessories) and GPS, and Proximity Sensor.

This phone is really expensive considering it is priced 170 dollars, and other similar phones are offerred way cheaper than that.
