Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo is a decent quality Android device released some years ago, in 2013, packing a 2 megapixels back camera, a powerful 850 megahertz processing unit and a little 3 inches display. Let's take a better sight of what this phone offers to us.
Samsung is offering this cellphone in 3 color options: blue, white and gray. This phone's thickness of 0.46" is a little far from current standards, but it still feels quite comfortable in the hand. This cellphone isn't a compact device, considering it is 4.13" long and 2.28 inches wide, but it just contains a 3 inches display. Samsung didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 3.55 ounces phone.
This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.
Samsung decided to sell this device with a powerful 850 MHz CPU, packed into a Broadcom BCM21654/G system chip and 512 MB of RAM memory. This cellphone has a decent 4 GB internal memory, which is enough for the vast majority of users considering that this phone also has a slot for an external memory card .
This cellphone offers WiFi capability (although it can't provide it to other devices around, as a mobile hotspot) and fast 3G data connection, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone has 2 SIM cards to be able to to use 2 different phone numbers or carriers at the same time.
This device is equipped with only a 2 MP back-facing camera. The Pocket Neo can also shoot QVGA 320x240 videos at 15 frames per second.
This phone also includes a couple of cool features like Bluetooth (enables communication with other devices, computers, and accessories) and GPS Geolocation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This cellphone packs a small 1200 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is quite poor for a consuming cellphone like this.
This device is priced 120 dollars, not cheap for this type of phone.
