Motorola DEFY+ Review

Motorola DEFY+ is a decent phone released in 2011, having a fast 1000 MHz processor, a 3.7 inches multi-touch display and a 5 mega-pixels back camera. That's all? Not at all, it's only the beginning of this in-depth review.

Motorola decided to equip this cellphone using a fast 1000 MHz CPU and 512 MB RAM memory. This phone counts with a 2 GB internal memory, an average quantity that should be fine for the majority of users knowing that it also has a slot for external memory cards .

Motorola appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 4.16 oz device. Even though the Motorola DEFY+ is only 4.21" long and 2.32 inches wide, it's still able to fit a a 3.7" display. This cellphone is a little thick for current standards, with its 0.53" thickness.

This phone only features a 5 MP back facing camera. To complete the camera, it also features a couple of useful characteristics like auto-focus, flash and digital image stabilization.

This phone includes a nice 854 x 480 3.7 inches display, providing this cellphone with a detailed image quality.

This phone offers Wi-Fi capability (but it can't provide it to other devices as a mobile hotspot) and fast 3G connection type, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a SIM card for GSM networks.

This device packs a 1700 mAh medium Li-Ion replaceable battery that can keep it running for many hours, although you will probably find yourself looking for a place to charge it after some moderate use. According to Motorola, the Motorola DEFY+ has an aproximate 384 hours stand by time and a 7.1 hours talk time.

The Motorola DEFY+ also includes a couple nice characteristics such as Bluetooth, GPS Localization and FM Radio, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

Motorola sells this cellphone for $ 149, which is high for comparing with other similar cellphones.
