Samsung Ativ S Review

Samsung Ativ S is an incredible Windows Phone 8.1, 8 phone launched back in 2012, including a big 4.8-inches display, an extremely fast Dual-Core processing unit clocking at 1500 megahertz, and two cameras, an 8 megapixels back-facing camera and a 1.9 MP front-facing camera.

The Samsung Ativ S feels much lighter than what you expect from a device like this. This phone has a gorgeous design, with a thickness of just 0.34 inches. The Samsung Ativ S is only 5.4" long, but it manages to hold a 4.8" screen.

Collaborating with graphic rendering, this cellphone also uses a 400 megahertz Adreno 225 GPU. This phone has a 32 GB large internal storage and a slot for an external memory card, allowing you to store hundreds of applications and even the heaviest games currently available without thinking about running out of space.

This device counts with WiFi connection (but it can't provide it to other devices acting as a wireless router or modem), HSPA+ 4G connectivity, that is not as fast as LTE networks and 3G fast data connection, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Samsung Ativ S uses a Micro SIM card for GSM networks.

This cellphone has two cameras, an 8 MP back facing camera and a 1.9 MP front camera. It is also able to capture Full HD 1920x1080 videos at 29 frames per second. In addition, this phone's camera also counts with flash.

The Samsung Ativ S packs an amazing 2300 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery providing this phone a good battery life. Samsung says this device has a stand by time of 250 hours and a talk time of 13 hours.

The Samsung Ativ S also features a handful of nice features such as Near Field Communication (NFC), Bluetooth (3.1) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

Samsung is selling the Samsung Ativ S for $ 250, which is a high price for a device this level. This phone is the right choice for you no matter if you want a work phone, need a device to play tons of games, are an amateur photographer or want this cellphone mostly for internet broswing and social networks.
