Samsung Continuum Review

Samsung Continuum is a mid-level Android phone launched in November 2010, which features a 5 mega-pixels back side camera, a medium 3.4-inches screen and a fast 1000 MHz processor.

This phone is 4.94" long and 2.3 inches wide, but it's only able to pack a way smaller 3.4 inches display. It seems like Samsung forgot about weight optimization in this 4.41 ounces device.

This phone is equipped with a Samsung Exynos 3 system chip, including a great performance CPU speeding at 1 GHz with only 336 MB of RAM memory. Graphic rendering usually uses lots of CPU processing time, so the Samsung Continuum counts with an extra 200 MHz PowerVR SGX540 GPU to help the CPU with those tasks. This cellphone has a 2 GB internal storage memory, a moderate quantity that should be fine for the majority of users having that it also has an external memory slot to store photos and videos and even some games and apps that allow external memory installation.

This cellphone has only a 5 megapixels back camera. It also films 1280x720 HD videos at 30 fps. Additionally, the camera has flash.

This device includes a good level 800 x 480 3.4-inches display, which makes everything look vivid. Its display uses Super AMOLED capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

This device counts with a mid capacity 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is quite low for a cellphone like this. Samsung informs a stand by time of 312 hs and a talk time of 7 hours for this cellphone.

This cellphone has WiFi connectivity (but it can't provide it to other devices acting as a wireless router). This cellphone doesn't use a SIM card, because it is not a GSM enabled cellphone and it can work with CDMA carriers.
