Samsung Galaxy E5 Review

Samsung Galaxy E5 is a very solid Android device released in 2015, including a great 1.2 gigahertz Quad-Core processing unit, a good size 5-inches multi touch screen, an 8 MP back side camera and a 5 mega-pixels front-facing camera.

Samsung decided to build this device using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 8916 chip, holding a very powerful 1.2 gigahertz Quad-Core CPU and a great 1,5 GB of RAM. Graphic calculations generally uses lots of processing time, so this cellphone has an additional Adreno 306 GPU clocking at 450 megahertz to help with that calculations. This cellphone has a good 16 GB internal storage and an external SD slot, enough to install hundreds of apps and games without running out of space.

This phone is much lighter than what you would expect from a cellphone of this size. Being just 0.29" thick,this cellphone is very thin and good-looking. This phone is only 5.57 inches long and 2.76 inches wide, but it is able to fit a a 5" screen. Samsung sells this phone in three color options: black, brown and white.

This device features two cameras, an 8 megapixels back facing camera and a 5 mega-pixels front-facing camera. It is capable of shooting videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 frames per second. In addition, this cellphone's camera also has some interesting characteristics: flash, smile detection shooting, auto-focus and geo tagging.

Samsung packed this cellphone with a interesting 5-inches screen, and a resolution of 1280 x 720 (HD), providing this phone with a detailed image quality. This screen uses Super AMOLED capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This phone counts with an amazing 2400 mAh non-replaceable battery, enough to provide the E5 with an incredibly long battery duration. An issue to consider is that this cellphone's battery is not replaceable so you can't throw it away and buy a new one when it starts to lose its charge, although with so much capacity you will probably buy a new phone before it happens.

This phone offers Wi-Fi connectivity (although it can't provide it to other devices around, acting as a hotspot), 4G (HSPA+) internet connection, which is not as fast as LTE or LTE-A 4G networks and fast 3G connectivity, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a Nano SIM card for GSM services.

This phone also includes a couple of cool features like Bluetooth and GPS Geolocation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

The E5 is not a very good choice considering it is priced 249 dollars, while other similar phones are a lot cheaper than that. If you need a phone for work, will use it as a gamer phone, want this phone to take plenty of photos or need a phone mostly for internet broswing and social networks, you will definitely be very pleased with this phone.
