Samsung Galaxy Golden is a powerful device, having an exceptional 1700 megahertz Dual-Core processor, a medium 3.7" screen, and 2 cameras, an 8 megapixels back camera and a 1.9 megapixels front facing camera.

This phone is a little thick compared to today's cellphones, being as thick as 0.62 inches. Samsung made this phoneavailable only in black and gold. This time, Samsung decided not to care about this phone weight at all, releasing a 6.31 ounces heavyweight product.

This phone includes a nice 3.7 inches display with a 800 x 480 resolution, which makes everything look very nice. Its display uses Super AMOLED capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

Samsung equipped this device with an extremely fast 1700 megahertz Dual-Core CPU, included in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 8930 system chip and a great 1,5 GB of RAM memory. To collaborate with graphic intensive applications, this phone also uses an Adreno 305 GPU speeding at 450 MHz. This device counts with an interesting 16 GB internal memory and a slot for external memory cards, which allows you to install a couple hundred apps without worrying about space.

This phone has two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 1.9 MP front camera. It is capable of capturing videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 frames per second. The camera also includes some interesting characteristics like flash, face detection shooting, auto-focus, smile detection shooting and geo tagging.

This cellphone features wifi capability (and it can share it with other devices as a mobile hotspot), 4G (HSPA+) data connection, that is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and 3G fast connectivity, using HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This cellphone works with a Micro SIM card to connect to GSM networks.

This phone uses a 1820 mAh mid capacity removable battery, which is quite low for a consuming cellphone like this.

This cellphone also comes with a wide range of cool features as NFC (Near Field Communication), Bluetooth (4.0), GPS Geolocation and FM Radio, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer and Compass.

The Samsung Galaxy Golden is not very cheap considering it is priced 499 dollars, while other similar cellphones cost a lot less than that.
