Samsung Galaxy Note is an amazing phone released in September 2011, with a high-tech 1400 MHz Dual-Core CPU, a quite big 5.3" display, an 8 megapixels back side camera and a 2 megapixels front-facing camera.
Samsung sells the Note in three color options, black, pink and white. Samsung has made a very nice design job making the Note as lightweight as 6.28 oz. Being just 0.38" thick, this cellphone is thin and comfortable. This device is quite a compact cellphone, taking into account that it packs a 5.3" display and it is just 5.78" long.
Samsung packed this phone with a very good 5.3-inches display, and a resolution of 1280 x 800 , making everything look great. This display uses Super AMOLED capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.
Samsung decided to equip this cellphone with a great 1400 megahertz Dual-Core processing unit, bundled in the Samsung Exynos 4 system chip with only 1 GB of RAM which is a little poor comparing with this device's impressive processor. To collaborate with graphic rendering, it also has an ARM Mali-400 MP4 GPU speeding at 266 MHz. A nice point of this cellphone is its quite big 16 GB internal storage memory and a slot for SD memory cards, enough to install a couple hundred applications and games without worrying about space.
The Note includes wi-fi connectivity (which it can provide to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G HSPA+ connectivity, that is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and the fastest 3G connectivity, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA and UMTS technologies. This phone uses a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.
This phone has two cameras, an 8 MP back camera and a 2 MP front facing camera. It can also shoot videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 fps. The camera also includes a few useful characteristics: auto-focus, flash, smile detection shooting and fast burst mode.
This device uses an inmense 2500 mAh Li-Ion removable battery providing the Note a marvelous battery life. Samsung informs a stand by time of 960 hours and a talk time of 26 hours for this cellphone.
This cellphone also features a handful of interesting features as Near Field Communication (NFC), Bluetooth and GPS, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Barometer and Compass.
This phone is priced $ 252, which is expensive for a device this level. No matter whether you need a device to mainly use social networks and internet browsing, need this phone for work, want a gamer phone or you love taking photos, this cellphone is the right choice for you.
