Sony Xperia advance Review

Sony Xperia advance is a decent cellphone released in 2012, which counts with a 3.5" display, a fast Dual-Core CPU running at 1000 MHz and a 5 MP back-facing camera.

Sony equipped this phone with a fast Dual-Core CPU clocking at 1000 megahertz and 512 MB RAM memory. The Sony Xperia advance has a 4 GB internal storage, a medium amount that should be enough knowing that this phone also has an external memory slot to store pictures and videos and even some games and apps that allow being installed in the external memory.

Sony appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 3.88 oz cellphone. Being just 0.39 inches thick,this cellphone is incredibly slim and good-looking. The Sony Xperia advance is offerred in three different colors, black, yellow and white.

Sony equipped this phone with an average 3.5-inches display, and a 480 x 320 resolution, providing this phone with a decent image quality. This display uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This cellphone only features a 5 megapixels back-facing camera. It is capable of shooting HD 1280x720 videos. Additionally, the camera includes a high number of valuable features like flash, digital image stabilization, auto-focus, face detection shooting, smile detection shooting and geo tagging.

This cellphone packs a medium capacity 1305 mAh battery that provides this phone a poor battery life. According to Sony, this cellphone has an aproximate 6.5 hours talk time and a 520 hours stand by time.

The Sony Xperia advance provides wifi connectivity (which it can share with other devices around, as a mobile hotspot) and 3G fast data connection, supported by HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a SIM card for GSM connection.

This phone also comes with a couple of cool features like Bluetooth (allows communication with other bluetooth devices and accessories) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and a couple sensors likeProximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

Sony sells this phone for 120 dollars, which is a really high price for a phone this level. Sony packs this phone with micro USB cable for charging, and user documentation., Stereo headset, synchronisation and file transfer and charger.
