Sony Xperia L Review

Sony Xperia L is a little outdated Android device launched many years ago, including a great performance Dual-Core processor speeding at 1 gigahertz, a 4.3" capacitive touch-screen, an 8 mega-pixels back camera and a 0.3 MP front side camera. Great! That's it? No, it's only the beginning of a much deeper review.

This cellphone has an amazing design, with a thickness of just 0.38". It seems like Sony didn't care much about the weight in this 4.83 ounces cellphone. This device is offerred in 3 colors, black, red and white.

Sony decided to build this phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8230 chip, holding a powerful 1000 MHz Dual-Core CPU with 1 GB RAM. To handle graphic calculations, this phone also has an Adreno 305 GPU running at 450 MHz. This phone comes with anice 8 GB internal storage and an SD card slot, enough to store a couple hundred games and apps without running out of space.

The Sony Xperia L is equipped with a very good 4.3-inches display with a 854 x 480 resolution, giving this cellphone a very good graphical experience. This display uses TFT capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

The Sony Xperia L is equipped with two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera. It can also film videos in HD 1280x720. In addition, this cellphone's camera also has a high number of amazing characteristics like flash, auto-focus, smile detection shooting, face detection shooting, geo tagging and HDR mode.

This phone has a 1750 mAh medium capacity Li-Ion replaceable battery that provides this cellphone a not very long battery life. According to Sony, the Sony Xperia L has an aproximate 498 hours stand by time and a 8.5 hs talk time.

This phone counts with wifi connection (which can be provided to other devices acting as a wireless router), HSPA+ 4G connection type, which is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and the fastest 3G data connection, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card to use GSM services.

The Sony Xperia L also features a couple nice features like NFC (to trigger actions, transfer data or make payments by holding your device close to another NFC device or tag), Bluetooth and GPS (Global Positioning System), and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

The Sony Xperia L costs around 125 dollars, not cheap for this type of phone. This cellphone is a great option it doesn't matter whether you want a cellphone to mainly use social networks and internet browsing or need a cellphone to play tons of games.
