Sprint Force Review

(N9100) Score: 49.6 / 100

Sprint Force is a little bit outdated phone released some years ago, in 2013, provisioned with a 4-inches screen, a very powerful Dual-Core CPU ticking at 1500 megahertz, a 5 MP back facing camera and a 1.2 mega-pixels front facing camera.

This phone is a bit heavy for a phone this size, weighting 5.4 oz. Sprint just sells this device in black color.

Sprint equipped this cellphone with a interesting 4" display, and a 800 x 480 resolution, which makes all photos and movies look beautiful. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

Sprint decided to equip the Sprint Force using an extremely powerful Dual-Core processing unit ticking at 1500 MHz, included in the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 chip with only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a little disappointing for such a good phone. Graphic calculations often uses lots of CPU processing time, so this cellphone has an Adreno 225 graphics processing unit running at 400 megahertz to improve overall performance. This phone counts with a passable 4 GB internal memory, which is fine having that it also has a slot for an SD memory card .

This phone offers wifi connectivity (but it can't be provided to other devices acting as a hotspot), LTE 4G high performance connection type and 3G internet connection, using EV-DO A technologies. The Sprint Force doesn't have a sim card, because it isn't a GSM enabled phone and it works with CDMA carriers.

This phone features two cameras, a 5 MP back-facing camera and a 1.2 mega-pixels front-facing camera. This device also has flash.

The Sprint Force also features a couple of useful characteristics as NFC (Near Field Communication), Bluetooth (provides communication with other bluetooth devices, computers and accessories) and GPS Geolocation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This phone features a 1730 mAh medium Li-Ion battery that provides this cellphone a not very long battery duration comparing with other similar phones.

Sprint is selling the Sprint Force for 249 dollars, which is not cheap for a phone this level.
