Videocon A31 Review

Videocon A31 is a not so powerful phone, with a fast 1200 MHz Dual-Core processing unit, a 4-inches screen, and 2 cameras, a 5 megapixels back side camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front camera.

Though this phone is very slim and comfortable it's not so thin as many other devices you can find, with a thickness of 0.42". Videocon sells the Videocon A31 in two colors, black and white.

This cellphone has a very good 4" display with a 800 x 480 resolution, making everything look very good. This display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

Videocon sells this phone with a powerful 1200 MHz Dual-Core processing unit with 512 MB of RAM. The Videocon A31 counts with a moderate 4 GB internal storage memory, which is enough for the vast majority of users having that it also has an external SD slot .

The Videocon A31 has two cameras, a 5 MP back facing camera and a 1.3 MP front facing camera. Additionally, the camera has auto-focus and flash.

This cellphone features a 1550 mAh medium sized removable battery that provides this phone a quite short battery durationcompared to other phones.

This cellphone features wifi connectivity (but it can't provide it to other devices acting as a router) and 3G connectivity, using UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone has dual sim cards to be able to to use 2 different phone lines or carriers in the same cellphone.

This phone also features a handful of nice features such as Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This phone is not a very good choice considering it is offerred for $ 155, and other similar cellphones cost much less than that.
