Yu Yureka Review

Yu Yureka is a pretty good device, counting with an enormous 5.5-inches multi touch screen, a high-tech 64-bit Octa-Core processing unit (as a matter of fact it's really a Quad-Core at 1700 megahertz and an additional Quad-Core at 1000 MHz), and two cameras, a 13 MP back camera and a 5 mega-pixels front facing camera. Let's take a deeper view of what this phone can give us.

Micromax just offers this phone in black color. Although this device is just 0 inches long and 0 inches wide, it manages to pack a 5.5" screen.

Micromax packed the Yu Yureka with a very good 5.5 inches display, and a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, giving this phone a good image quality. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

This phone is powered by a high speed 64 bits Octa-Core processing unit (it's actually a Quad-Core speeding at 1700 megahertz and another Quad-Core at 1000 MHz), bundled in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 system chip with a great 2 GB RAM memory. Graphic calculations often eats lots of processing power, so this cellphone uses an extra 500 MHz Adreno 405 GPU to help with that calculations. This device counts with a 16 GB quite large internal storage memory and an SD memory card expansion slot, which allows you to store hundreds of applications without any problem.

This cellphone offers wi-fi connectivity (although it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a modem or router), 4G (LTE) high performance internet connection and 3G fast internet connection, supported by HSPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Yu Yureka supports dual sim cards so it's able to use 2 different phone lines.

This cellphone features two cameras, a 13 megapixels back camera and a 5 megapixels front-facing camera. It is also able to capture videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD). Additionally, the camera has flash and auto-focus.

This phone packs a 2500 mAh large removable battery, enough to provide the Yu Yureka with an incredibly long battery life. Micromax reports a 8 hs talk time and a 210 hs stand by time for this device.

This phone also includes a couple useful features like Bluetooth (provides communication with other devices, computers, and accessories), GPS and Radio, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Gyroscope.

This phone is really overpriced considering it costs $ 145, and many similar devices are sold for much less than that. The Yu Yureka is probably a great option for you no matter if you need a device for playing games or want it mostly for social networks.
