ZTE Axon Review

ZTE Axon is an amazing device released many years ago, equipped with a 2300 megahertz processor, a huge 5.5 inches display, and 2 cameras, a 13 megapixels back-facing camera and an 8 megapixels front facing camera. But let's get into a bit more details.

The ZTE Axon is just 0.37 inches thick, making it one of the thinnest cellphones out there. Although the ZTE Axon is only 6.06" long and 2.9 inches wide, it's still able to fit a a 5.5" screen. ZTE made this cellphoneavailable just in three colors: gray, blue and gold. Regarding its body materials, the ZTE Axon is majorly built with aluminum; plastic. This phone feels much lighter than what one would think about a phone like this.

ZTE ships this phone with an extremely powerful processor clocking at 2.3 GHz, packed into the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 8974 chip with a large 2 GB RAM memory. A great aspect of the ZTE Axon is the 32 GB big internal storage and although it doesn't come with an external memory slot, it it is more than enough to store hundreds of applications without worrying about running out of space.

ZTE packed the ZTE Axon with a gorgeous 5.5-inches screen, and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (Full HD), which makes all images and videos look absolutely perfect. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

This cellphone has wifi capability (which it can provide to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), LTE 4G fast data connection and the fastest 3G connection type, over HSPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card for GSM networks.

The ZTE Axon is equipped with two cameras, a 13 MP back-facing camera and an 8 mega-pixels front facing camera. It is also able to capture 4K 3840x2160 videos at 30 frames per second. The camera also includes a couple of useful characteristics: flash, auto-focus, face detection shooting, geo tagging and time lapse video.

This cellphone comes with a high capacity 3000 mAh non-removable battery providing this phone an amazing battery duration. ZTE informs a stand by time of 300 hours and a talk time of 25 hours for this phone. An issue to take into account is that the ZTE Axon's battery isn't replaceable so you won't be able to replace it when it begins to live shorter, although with such a huge battery size you will probably replace this phone before that becomes a real problem.

This cellphone also features a handful of interesting features like Near Field Communication (NFC), Bluetooth (for communication with other devices, computers, and accessories) and GPS, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This cellphone may not be a very good choice considering it costs $ 135, and many similar phones are sold for a bit less than that.
