ZTE Grand X Max Review

ZTE Grand X Max is a fair quality phone, counting with a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core CPU, a 6" multi-touch display, and 2 cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 1 mega-pixels front-facing camera.

The ZTE Grand X Max is a very compact cellphone, taking into account that it features a 6 inches screen and it's only 6.38 inches long and 3.27 inches wide. This cellphone is very thin and stilized, with a thickness of just 0.31". ZTE made this phoneavailable just in black color. This phone is much lighter than what you expect from a device this size.

ZTE decided to power this cellphone using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 8212 chip, including a very fast 1200 megahertz Quad-Core CPU with only 1 GB RAM which is a little bit poor for a device this powerful. Collaborating with graphic intensive tasks, the ZTE Grand X Max also counts with an Adreno 302 graphics processing unit clocking at 400 megahertz. This phone comes with an 8 GB quite big internal storage and an SD memory card expansion slot, enough to store a couple hundred applications and games without worrying about space.

The ZTE Grand X Max includes a good looking 1280 x 720 (HD) 6-inches display, giving this cellphone a very nice graphic quality.

The ZTE Grand X Max is equipped with two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back side camera and a 1 mega-pixels front facing camera. The ZTE Grand X Max also captures videos in HD 1280x720. The camera also features a few good features: auto-focus, flash, face detection shooting and geo tagging.

This device features a 3200 mAh long lasting Li-Ion non-replaceable battery, enough to provide the ZTE Grand X Max with an incredible battery duration. ZTE reports a 860 hs stand by time and a 6.5 hs talk time for this phone. An issue to evaluate is that the ZTE Grand X Max's battery is non-removable so you can't buy a new battery when it begins to last shorter, though with such a huge battery size you will probably discard this cellphone before it happens.

This device has wifi capability (although it can't be shared with other devices as a mobile hotspot), HSPA+ (4G) connection type, which is not as fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and the fastest 3G data connection, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a Micro SIM card for GSM services.

This cellphone also includes a few nice features like Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

The ZTE Grand X Max is very overpriced considering it is priced 169 dollars, and many similar cellphones cost much less than that. If you are looking for a cellphone to play games or need a cellphone to mostly use social networks, you will probably love this device.
